Triangle Freethought Society is holding a Lobby Training session with Amanda Knief, Government Relations Manager at the Secular Coalition for America and co-founder of the Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers. Amanda formerly served as legal counsel for the Legislative Services Agency, the nonpartisan division of the Iowa Legislature. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communication and journalism from Iowa State University and a law degree from Drake University. She is an avid rock climber and bibliophile.

Amanda Knief brings a combination of legislative legal experience and grassroots advocacy that will inspire you to be an activist for separation of church and state.
