NATIONAL DAY OF REASON
a project of the American Humanist Association
and
a local collaboration celebration of:
Secular Student Alliance of West Texas A&M University,
First 15 celebrants, age 13 and over, identifying at the gate as being with the NDR Celebration, FTO, SSA of WTAMU, or PH get in PD Canyon FREE! $3 per person, age 13 and over, thereafter. Age 12 and under FREE. Entrance closes at 8 pm. Park closes at 10 pm.
Suggested activities:
Í Shoe polish “Honk if You Love Reason!” et cetera on your cars!
Í Hike the PD Canyon Sunflower Trail with old and new friends!
Í Bring your favorite backyard science experiment and wow the crowd with science!
Í Musically inclined? Bring your instruments to play, including voices!
Í Bring potluck, fruits, veggies, hot dogs, pork-n-beans, ice, water and stuff for sharing or not – you call it!
Í Make tasteful family-friendly FTO, SSA, and PH National Day of Reason signs for tables, trees and cliffs!
Í Bring your Frisbies, Hacky Sacks, yard darts, bocce, horse shoes, jump ropes, water blasters!
Í Trade, lend or discuss favorite books!
